As a rule, we decline swingers' clubs. This is not a question of morality, and I don't want it to sound like one. For couples who want to try something new, such an evening can certainly be exciting, and that is their right. For a first date with a premium companion, it is simply the wrong setting.First, there is discretion. In a club you see strangers and are seen by them, and none of us knows who else is in the room. Then there is safety: we don't know the guests, and a lady cannot simply withdraw without it being noticed. And something is missing that we don't give away at a first meeting, an advance of trust. As a rule, we don't extend it, neither to a place we don't know nor to people we haven't yet spoken to.
We learned this in our early years. A gentleman had booked a club visit, and suddenly two of his friends turned up who had also booked a companion. An evening for two was supposed to become a gathering that nobody had agreed to. That is not acceptable. Why should a lady show herself to, or allow herself to be touched by, someone who has nothing to do with her date? You have to go through such an experience once to truly internalize it. Since then, one rule has applied without exception: the wellbeing of our ladies comes first. A date takes place between two people, and intimacy stays private, where it belongs.
A request that recently kept us thinking sounded entirely different: a masked ball in Venice. A different country, new impressions, an evening with style. People dance, they dine, they play with glances and with the mask, and everything has class. Those who wish to withdraw do so in rooms set up for that purpose, not in the middle of the guests. This very separation makes the difference between atmosphere and overstepping a line. Here, I could imagine a lady feeling at ease.
That gave me an idea. What if PURE hosted its own masked ball next year? By our rules, with a buffet, dancing and suitable premises, with ladies who feel like it and a gentleman at each one's side who suits her. I'd like to know how you see it. Your vote counts.
Discreetly yours,
Lena
