When I recently arranged to meet a lady who was considering joining PURE, one thing mattered greatly to her: a public place. At her previous agency, she had experienced conversations that felt intrusive — and ever since, she simply feels safer in places she could leave at any moment, should something feel uncomfortable.
I know that feeling all too well. It still happens far too often in this business that needs like hers go unconsidered. So for me, it was immediately clear: we'd choose a place that gave her exactly that sense of safety. We met at the Zoologischer Stadtgarten in Karlsruhe — surrounded by people, open, unforced.
And then something lovely happened that I hadn't expected at all. To reach the Japanese Garden, you first have to walk through the zoo itself — so we wandered through together, past the enclosures, until we finally stood in that quiet, beautiful garden with its old shrine and stone lions. She told me she used to come here often as a child and has loved this place ever since.
Sometimes you get back what you give. I wanted to offer her safety — and together we ended up rediscovering a place that had long been close to her heart.
Discreetly yours,
Lena
