When two people say “massage”, they rarely mean the same thing.

One word on the phone, two entirely different pictures in mind. Why we wrote an escort glossary before a misunderstanding turns into an awkward evening.

PURE's Erotic & Escort Glossary

On the phone, it often begins with a single word. “And a massage would be nice.” Most of the time I say nothing at first and simply listen. Because that word carries something different for everyone.

One person thinks of warm hands, a soft towel and shoulders that are finally allowed to let go. Another means a transition he would rather not say out loud. And the lady who hears it in the end may picture something else entirely.

The ladies tell me how often an evening begins with a small misunderstanding. No ill will, no mistake. Just two people using the same word with different pictures in mind. The doorstep is the wrong place to sort that out. It is there for nerves and for a first glance, not for negotiations.

That is why I collected the terms that cause the most friction on the phone and explained them the way I would explain them to a gentleman calling for the first time: calmly, respectfully, without a wink that makes him feel small. The result is our new Erotic & Escort Glossary, from A to Z.

Take the massage entry. It says that before a date you should agree clearly on which kind is meant. It sounds sober, and yet it is the whole trick. What is possible at PURE is decided by the lady in the end, beforehand in conversation and not on the doorstep.

The Girlfriend Experience is another such word. Many take it for a program. It is an attitude, an atmosphere, and closeness means something different to everyone. And under discretion you will find exactly what I have said from day one: it is not an advertising phrase but the prerequisite for everything else.

I like gentlemen who ask. Someone who reads up beforehand does not seem inexperienced, he seems attentive, and the ladies notice immediately. If you miss a word, feel free to write to me. The glossary is meant to grow.

Discreetly yours,
Lena
