Two kinds of messages make me especially curious. One begins with a sentence like I'd love to see her again. The other with a question: Who's new with you?
Both gentlemen are equally dear to me, and both are easily misunderstood. The first is quickly assumed to have fallen in love. The second is assumed never to arrive anywhere. Both are rarely true.
The gentleman who books the same lady again and again is usually not looking for love. He has his real life, and it is often full enough: a calendar packed with appointments and people who want something from him. What he found with her is a place where he doesn't have to perform. He comes back because he feels at ease. Because he knows what awaits him, and because it feels good that someone remembers him. According to my ladies, what matters most to him is being heard and listening, being seen and seeing, in the empathetic sense. That someone asks how his week was and truly wants the answer.
Then there are the gentlemen who love variety. They are curious about new impressions and about the spark an unfamiliar encounter can ignite. The quiet flutter before the doorbell rings, the question of who is about to stand there, how she laughs, how the evening will feel. They enjoy sensuality without needing to explain it, and they like to let themselves drift. For them, adventure is no lack of depth, but another way of feeling alive.
The regular looks for closeness that grows. The explorer looks for moments that surprise. One comes for the conversation that stopped last time. The other for the story that hasn't begun yet.
I don't rate either of them. Who books whom says nothing about character. Some are both, first a regular, then an explorer, or the other way around. That is exactly why my ladies are so different. There is room for both.
And you? More the one who stays, or the one who discovers? I'm curious what you'd answer.
Discreetly yours,
Lena
